Martin D-18  Dreadnought Guitar 1942

1942 Martin D-18 Ser. #82030 Adirondack spruce top, scalloped braces, ebony bridge and fingerboard.  The guitar saw significant playing as evidenced by the wear around the pickguard.  The neck was replaced by Martin in later 1965, presumably due to this wear, and has the 1960’s rounded headstock..  The neck is in excellent condition as are the frets and has the early introduction of Grover “Patented USA” Rotomatic tuners.  Structurally the guitar is in excellent condition and the sound is tremendous.  The neck was professionally reset by our luthier and is a flat-picker’s dream.  The case is a vintage hard shell with all the character of the guitar and in perfect working order.
