In 1999 Ibanez built a limited production of 12 doubleneck guitars for the Nashville NAMM Trade Show.  This run was an immediate sell out when the Show was announced.  We had immediately turned in an order for one but were unable to secure a guitar.  A several months later we received a phone call saying that 4 more STW guitars had arrived in the Pennsylvania office.  Instead of black these guitars were Black Pearl.  We immediately said “yes”.  24 years later we are offering this guitar for the public.  It is pristine, never played, original in every way including the strings and the Nashville NAMM Brochure announcing all the new products they would be showing, including the “Limited Edition STW”.  We are even including the original Purchase Order when we purchased the guitar.

The guitar was made in the factory in Japan.  As the model designation would indicate, this is a super thin “S” series body offering greater sustain and making it extremely easy to hold and play.  The 7-string neck features a fixed bridge and the 6-string features the Ibanez Floyd Rose locking bridge and nut.  The guitar comes with the original flight case made just for this production.  The original “Nashville Newsletter” featuring the guitar and other case candy are included as well as a printout of the original Order and Purchase Order, dated July 2, 1999.
